Volunteers from the professional orders ensure the democratic functioning of the Council and are active in its committees and forums.

Three standing committees created by the general meeting of members-the planning committee, legislation committee and finance committee-assist the executive committee in carrying out particular functions and studying various files. Members of these committees are appointed by the executive committee.The committees are chaired by a member of the executive committee.

The Council may also create ad hoc committees to study particular issues.
